Holas! I'm new to Long Beach from New York. As soon as I moved to the neighborhood I connected with The Center. As I blossom more into my presence as a Latina transgender, I sought support from The Center. All the staff and members have been incredibly amazing. What was just a small mustard seed of an idea in relocating to Long Beach and connecting with the LGBTQ community, is now becoming a full fledged reality. I am so grateful for the services being offered and the comfort I feel being in my new LGBTQ Center "home."

Went in for an HIV test. Very quick and easy, and informative. The receptionist was polite and straightforward, as were the workers. It's important to get tested not only for HIV but other STD's as well (: recommended it 100%

When i entered Fed Ex i noticed there was only one worker, and so many customers. The worker later learned his nams was Brian, never lost his cool. So many people asking him questions, and asking for help qith the copiers, helping people with packaging. He assisted everyone with the most wonderful attitude even though he was under pressure. I loved the help i received. Happy customer 😊

I went back to Serene Center after relapsing a few months ago. No judgment, just honest help and support. It is definately what I needed after failing to follow through on my recovery plan. I know what I needed to do and I didn't do the work. What everyone told me came true and I used again. I called Andrew at Serene Center and told him what happened: he asked me to come in and talk. When we sat down I felt at home and I was able to be honest. After putting together a plan, I found myself back at Serene Center for a couple of months to get my sea legs. Thanks again guys! You guys are awesome! I love that you work with Twin Town. You kept me honest, called me on my bull**** and left me no choice than to grow up. I needed that, and I appreciate how you did not give up on me. You turned a brat into an adult, and I owe you both my life.

do they allow medications?? i will be on opiate maintenance for quite some time and will need to be in a sober living as well
